Pharmacy Residency Program
Thank you for your interest in UNC Health Southeastern’s Pharmacy Residency Programs at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Our goal is to provide an environment that will stimulate your professional growth and allow you to pursue your areas of interest. Our department is composed of approximately 65 employees including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and supportive staff. We offer many services including, but not limited to, preparation of IV admixtures, pharmacokinetic, anticoagulant, and parenteral nutrition therapy monitoring, antimicrobial stewardship, emergency medicine, critical care, and neonatal specialty services. Patient safety is our top priority and we have invested in the latest technology to help achieve this. As an organization our vision is to be the health system of choice by advancing the health of our communities through partnerships, learning, and providing high quality and compassionate care. Pharmacists completing our program will become competent, independent practitioners showing leadership and a high level of maturity in their practice area.

lumber river state park:
The Lumber River State Park spans across Columbus, Hoke, Robeson and Scotland counties with two access areas: Princess Ann and Chalk Banks. Activities include hiking, paddling, fishing, picnicking and camping. The wildlife and beautiful scenery helped the Lumber River earn federal designation as a National Wild and Scenic River.
All American City Award:
The All-America City Award is a community recognition program that is awarded to 10 communities in the United States annually. Lumberton earned this distinction twice - in 1970 and 1995. The City of Lumberton continually promotes the attributes of diversity, and strives for a strong regional and national image.
